SEO Consulting for a Leading Bathroom Equipment Retailer

Lemit is one of the leading bathroom equipment stores in Serbia — 5 locations in Novi Sad and Belgrade, with a complete range of ceramic tiles, sanitary ware, shower enclosures, bathtubs, faucets, and bathroom furniture.

On this project, we handle SEO consulting and strategy, while the development team We Deliver IT from Novi Sad manages the implementation and development on the WordPress + WooCommerce platform. This collaboration demonstrates how the combination of SEO expertise and technical implementation delivers measurable results.


Starting Point

The lemit.rs website was undergoing a complete redesign by the We Deliver IT team — a new visual identity, WordPress platform modernization, and user experience improvements. This was the ideal moment to involve SEO expertise, as a redesign without SEO oversight can easily destroy existing positions.

Beyond the redesign itself, the website had several key issues:

  • Organic traffic depended primarily on branded queries ("lemit", "lemit novi sad")
  • Products had empty or minimal descriptions — Google could not properly index them
  • FAQ schema markup did not exist on any page — missed opportunities for rich snippets
  • Google My Business profiles for 5 locations were not optimized
  • Blog did not exist — there was no informational content to attract non-branded traffic

What We Did

Phase 1: SEO Oversight During Redesign (December 2025 - January 2026)

While We Deliver IT was executing the site redesign, we ensured SEO value was preserved during the transition:

  • Mapping all existing URLs and verifying redirects were correct
  • Complete site analysis through Google Search Console
  • Monitoring indexation during and after the transition to the new design
  • Identifying and reporting indexation issues
  • Mapping key categories and priority pages
  • Defining SEO strategy for Q1 2026

Result: the site transitioned to the new design without losing positions — organic traffic continued growing immediately after the transition.

Phase 2: Content Strategy (February 2026)

After technical stabilization, the focus shifted to creating content that attracts non-branded traffic:

3 blog articles for informational searches:

  • How to choose the ideal tiles for your bathroom (~1,300 words)
  • Shower enclosure or bathtub — what's better for your space (~1,200 words)
  • How to renovate a bathroom: practical tips before buying (~1,500 words)

Each article contains internal links to relevant categories and products on the website — the goal is to capture informational searches and direct traffic to sales pages.

Phase 3: FAQ Schema for Categories

FAQ content was prepared for all 7 main categories (29 questions and answers), along with ready-to-implement JSON-LD snippets:

Instructions were also prepared for fixing schema markup on the existing /faq/ page, which has 8 questions but no structured data.

Phase 4: Bulk Product Description Import

A bulk import of descriptions for all products on the site was completed — every product received a basic SEO description, specifications, and images. Products are no longer "empty" for Google.

Phase 5: Google My Business Plan (5 Locations)

A complete plan was prepared for optimizing all 5 GMB profiles:

  • Novi Sad - Futoska (HQ)
  • Belgrade - Vojislava Ilica
  • Veternik
  • Belgrade - Luka
  • Novi Beograd - Exclusive (premium showroom)

For each location: unique descriptions, categories, photo checklist, Google Posts strategy, and a plan for encouraging reviews.
